Default Morphiusrt Nismo #582 Black on Black

I finally decided to start one of these to my trials and tribulations with #582.

Mid 2011 I was dead set on purchasing a new vehicle it was between a G35, E46 and a 350Z so for about 2 months of looking and searching I had kind of ruled the 350Z because of its lack of practicality. And I wasn’t coming up with anything in the price range I wanted ($16,000-$18,000). My plan was to buy a car in that range sell my SRT4 and use the money to hook up whatever I ended up buying. Then out of nowhere on Craigslist a Nismo pops up fairly close to me too. It was more then I wanted to spend and I didn’t really want black but I figured I’d give it a test drive and see if I like it more then the regular 350Z. After test driving it for about 2 minutes I loved the rigidity of it, the tone of the exhaust and of course the looks. It was well maintained, kept very clean garaged and covered. I still wasn’t convinced.

Then my girlfriend says to me “Do you have kids?” “Do you plan on having kids anytime soon?” “Which car would make you the happiest?” After that it was settled I was getting the Nismo, now the only problem was I needed to sell my SRT4. I told Nick “Lento” my situation and even without a deposit told me he would hold the car for me. He wanted it to go to a good home and knew I would take good care of it. So after about a week or 2 of tire kickers I sold my SRT4 ($1,500 more then I paid for it 2 years before) and picked up #582 on 6/8/2011.

I’m stealing Brandon3434’s format as it is very nice page setup.

The day I brought it home:

Couple days later after I detailed the outside (which started my new obsession):

Very nice Nismo. To bad you took great wheels off and put fakes on. Nothing good ever came out of cheap wheels.

^TE.6's are actually built the same way Enkei RPF1's so they're not too bad.

Sorry you feel that way.

Well between my wheels and tires the "great wheels" weighed about 16.5lbs more.

Also I believe BBS wheels are made using the same process to produce their wheels.

This is probably a very stupid question, but the license plate mount in the very first picture, is that from the dealer? Mine did not come with one so I figured there wasn't one. If so, I'll have to go bother my dealer for one.

It is from the dealer. It doesn't fit perfect because it leaves dents in the top corners on the bumper.

Ya I see the gain of having less weight but I just dont trust fakes. We all know what can happen to them if a lot of pressure is put on them.. Aka huge pot hole or curb.

If you run into some spare time, snap a few good photos from a few angles of your exhaust. I'd like to add it to the Nismo exhaust sticky
