Default Baseline Dyno for Nismo 370Z

I took the Nismo into ZSport in here in Everett for some baseline dyno runs. Nismo put down 294.5 HP at the wheels - it peaked right at redline. If you figure 18% loss in the drivetrain (I was given that number as a decent estimate) then it is making about 357.5 HP at the crank, FWIW.

Now, I'll transplant the CAI's from my 350z and do it again - hopefully next week while the weather here is similar (mid 60's, rainy).

They have a Dynapack dyno:

stir and enjoy!

Wow great numbers man! Cant wait to see what the intakes give you, Hurry up and put those babies on!

Edit: P.S You should get a forum going on your site, good place for NISMO owners to hide from all the haters

I'll be on it this week - I'm also interested in how it will change the exhaust note. After I do the intakes I'll shoot some more vids & see how it sounds. I didn't exactly get much from the dyno video shoot, but about the only thing that *did* work was the mic on the intakes, lol. So I have a reference for that.

P.S You should get a forum going on your site
I decided not to make a forum on nismolife.com - this is a great forum & there are a few others out there...my focus is more on getting people to make better car video & send me links so I can feature them on my site!

Dynapack dyno's always make higher HP numbers, Try it on a dynojet and see how much WHP it's making.

Thanks for clarifying - I knew there were differences between dynos. I'll call around and find a DJ dyno. Do you know anything about Dynacomm dynos?

The dynocom is basically the same thing as a dynojet.

Thanks. I had a dynocom dyno scheduled for tomorrow, but had to reschedule. Well it will happen after intakes I guess.

My stock Nismo Dyno'd at 296 on dynojet with SAE correction.

301 with Injen intakes. However torque dropped about 3 hp from stock

They have a Dynapack dyno:

just lurking around, lol...

those are very nice numbers for stock

i ended up with 249/245 with typical n/a mods - and stock exhaust on a dynopack with my 04-350

45 more whp and only a 0.2 bump in displacement, plus other NISMO goodies, not fair, lol!

have fun with your NISMO's guys, the new one look really nice!
