water meth and nitrous

Just curious if anyone has run water methanol in conjunction with nitrous and if it allows the user to spray a higher shot like it allows people to boost higher without detination

I was going to do this on my last car, but never could find to much info on it (about 2 years ago) so I never did.

I would like to see what some others on here say

my intial thought was that it wouldn't help b/c one reason it works for FI guys is that high boost causes the air temp going into the engine to rise significantly (that's why they have inter-coolers) which in-turn can cause detonation/pre-ignition.

But one of the reasons why Nitrous shouldn't be run continuosly is that engine temps start to spike - injecting water/Meth would help to cool the engine - but I'm not sure by how much. In the end, I would think that water/meth injection might help with extending the amount of time you can continously run w/ Nitrous on, but probably wouldn't help with the maximum shot you could run. (I think the limiting factor for what shot you run, assuming a proper A/F mixture, is your engine strenght)

**This is just my thoughts...I'd like to hear from other more experienced ppl on this.

I know squat about NO2 , but I did notice with my SC and W/M injection . That my A/F dropped by [1] full point with a 50/50 mix . If you were to do a 100% meth spray , you may be able to get away with a 50 shot with out adding fuel...dont know ?

Well My thought was that since the limitting factor seamed to be a lean condition with nitrous and not to much stress that spraying the meth would allow the injectors to pump more fuel into the cylyner since pressure in the combustion chamber would drop with the temp drop allowing more fuel in. Also water meth has the benefit of steam cleaning the engine
