Default am i crazy?

so i bought the dynotune vq35hr kit and will be using nx lightning series solenoids and nx shark nozzles...im also getting the trick peformace progressive guage to monitor my fuel pressure and to control my nitrous... i plan to shoot a 200hp shot ramped from 3,000 rpm to 7,000 rpm starting my shot at 100hp and ending at 200hp around 6,200 thru 7,000 rpm.. only spraying 1st thru 4th gear...i will obviously get a tune, have decide on osiris tuned by jack cecil from hplogic in south florida...my car will have custom 2.5 inch header back exhaust no cats and currently have custom cai with k&n filters in stock intake box...will also get 1-2 step colder plugs but cant find the part# for the vq35hr copper plugs(ive heard copper is better with nitrous)...also fuel pressure safety switch and afr lean shutdown and wideband guage...so do you guys think its too big of a shot or will the hr handle it well...im only going to use this shot at the 1/4 mile track a couple times a month...i will have a tune for 150hp shot for the rest.. oh and plan to run race gas for extra security with both setups...any comments that will help me are very appreciated.

thanks in advance
RONIE

In for vids
There a few threads around with the plug numbers.

heres one for you:
http://my350z.com/forum/nitrous-oxid...ally-know.html
Also anything over 150 you really should start thinking about going the direct port route. Its going to be your best bet for a 200 shot.

150 whp shot is possible on the DEs. 200 whp shot is a possibility on the HRs, but that's just my assumption as nobody as attempted yet. Maybe you can prove me right.

It seems like you're doing fine with the safety equipments and the precautionary measures you're taking. Keep in mind, however, that "ramping" is basically a on/off switch for the solenoids that is based on time. That means, it'll take its toll on the solenoids over time. Another possibility would be to have a 2 stage set up (can be controlled by 2-stage window switches).

With that all said, I'd recommend a direct port set up with such a huge shot as a single nozzle wet shot (1 on each side of the plenum) means that certain cylinder(s) won't get as much of the nitrous/fuel mixture than other(s). I assume that to be even more true with a progressive shot. I recommend either a direct port set up (progressive is ok) or a 2-stage set up (single nozzle wet shot for each side of plenum is ok).

thanks for such quick replies guys...i though about the 2 stage setup but would rather a direct port setup for optimum n2o and fuel mixture...maybe i can go with a bigger shot with direct port...lol..skies the limit rite?

Damn, direct port? Ballin'! Please keep us updated with the process. We don't see direct port set ups around here often.

It appears that you're going to have a 2 stage N20 system, is that correct? So you will launch on a 100shot and when will the other 100shot kick in?

i was thinking about a two stage set up but the space in the intake manifold isnt really convincing me so i will go with a single 200 shot proggresively controlled to shoot a 100shot at 3500 and ramp up to a 200 shot at about 5500 or 6000 rpms and cut off at 7200
