I'm in the same boat as you looking to go with a Zex system with a goal to hit 100hp. I have the cobb and plan to have it tuned but wondering how to deal with the timing retard. I'll be running a 100shot but I know you need to tune it because you have to retard your timing. Chips advance your timing w/out a custom tune.
You don't need to retard on a 100 shot, just keep an eye on your plugs. If you want to retard timing to make you feel "safer", -2 for a 100 shot. Nissan can do it with their Consult (up to -2 degrees)

And how do I go about keeping an eye on my plugs? They're already a pain in the butt to install.
Anybody Nitrous Tuned w/ the Cobb Access Port???
