I have a 04 G35 6mt and my nitrous isnt working right. Ive been searching all over and cant seem to find the probem.
When I hit the activation switch, and go WOT(trigger) the nitrous shoots in spurts. I can feel when the nitrous hits and it goes on/off repeatedly.
I think its the voltage that my throttle body is sending. The nitrous management unit activates on a 5 volt signal, and since my car is a drive-by-wire, not cable, i hooked it up to a green wire on the throttle body which is the wire that the car ECU senses WOT. From what I heard, the VQ works a bit different than most conventional cars (http://my350z.com/forum/nitrous-oxid...s-trigger.html)
anyone have any ideas?

A couple of us are having a similar problem with the zex kit.
You did set WOT by hand right?
You might want to get a hold of ZEX and get the risistor wire that our cars should have between the control unit and the TPS, if you don't already have it.
I would start by rechecking your grounds and make sure your 12v source can handle the amp draw from the niods
if checks out fine, then I think it's your tps signal. Not sure what size shot your using but I had the same problem, I would go wot spray then it would cut off.
The problem was I had the zex box set to activate at 100% throttle and the system only gives you a 2% window. I was able to confirm that what was happening is that when I went wot I would hit 100% but the kick from the nitrous would push me back in my seat and the throttle would go down to 95% and deactivate the nitrous. The thing is in your mind it's pedal to the metal but not to the computer.
To fix the problem reset your system to spray at 95% throttle or 4.5-4.7volts and the problem should go away
It could also be simply your tps tap was done poorly, not saying it was, but i had that exact problem awhile ago in a different car, and then it stopped all together, and went and checked, and sure enough i had just been in a rush at the end, and had to redo the whole tap. Ever since then it worked fine.
