Default Intake Burst Panel for Plastic Intakes

I am looking for a burst panel for my intake tube, but all i can find is for the manifold or engine specific ones like these:
http://www.buyracingparts.com/induct...-fast-lsx.html

http://store.trackerdesigns.com/Merc...de=SPD-122-076

Since my intake tube is plastic, would the pressure created in a backfire be more than what a plastic tube can handle and burst on its own? I would rather have a busted intake tube than a busted engine. Input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Both of your links aren't copied properly.

If you're worried about the backfire, there are several solutions to that. One of them would be to install a pressure release valve on the actual plenum itself.

As far as the plastic intake tube bursting, the pressure can burst the tube itself, but I don't think I've seen that happen on the Z. If anything, you'll see people blow their intake tubing off the throttle body or exploding plenums.

I think i would rather have the intake tube blow than plenum, lol. I am redoing a good amount on my nitrous setup and just trying to make the safest setup possible.

Lets try this again:

Like i said, I really don't want to put one on the manifold. I was thinking of trying an actual pressure relief valve and mount it in a way the fogger nozzle is mounted.

Honestly, if you don't have problems with the fuel pooling inside the manifold (which you shouldn't, as long as you don't run too rich or with low bottle pressure), you don't need any of that.

Running rich won't be too much of a problem, going to tune for nitrous and my new controller has rich cut off Low pressure isn't going to be issue, got something to remedy that also, lol. Thanks for the advice!
