Default Bottle warmers/heaters

what kind of warmers/heaters are you guys using. I currently have the one from zex but its giving me problems. I checked all the wiring, and fuses cant seem to figure out whats wrong. Sometimes it gets extremely hot in one area and then stops working.

I was wondering if there is another one out there that heats up the bottle quicker when the weather gets colder. Are they all basically the same? Should I use a blowtorch to heat it up quicker?

Dump the Zex and get a bottle heater that operates off of bottle pressure, the zex works off of temperature correct? How do you have it wired, draw a diagram if you can.

Dynotune offers one that works off of bottle pressure. Mine is for sale, never had problems with it:

I'm a fan of the dyno tune one, as well. I just wish it would somehow go into "zomgoverheatmode" to keep bottle pressure up during a run, but seems like the only way to do that is with a NANO kit or something similar.

Yeah, for the price of a Nano 4500 psi kit, you can buy 3 10lbs bottles and fill them up, lol. The 3000 psi kit is a bit cheaper, but bulkier.

I've read that the lower the pressure, ie 950psi compared to 1050psi, there is less loss of pressure over the run, thats just what i read somewhere though.

So that regulator will keep nitrous pressure at lets say 1050psi? So if you heat the chit out of the bottle and the n20 pressure is 1400psi, it will only flow out 1050psi and maintain that, so you have 500 extra psi to lose?

Well, you aren't running that big of a shot correct? I would wait and see if the bottle heater works for your needs before getting that pressure regulator, see if it warms better, just my opinion.

I have the Zex heater and its a POS. My friend has the Dynotune Heater and its the shiznitt. Its heats up the bottle in like a minute flat from freezing.

DO NOT use a torch to warm up your bottle. There is a high chance that the bottle will become weak and explode. Stick with a warmer...the dynotune sounds to be your best bet.
