Default Help with nos pressure

So, I bought my 350z couple of months ago and the guy prior had put a zex wet nos kit on it. I had never tried using it cause I always thought the bottle was empty. One day, I took it out and notice that it was not empty. I can't remember. How much it weighed, but it was somewhere around 18-19lb (on a 10lb bottle). Anyways when I found this out I hooked it up by hand, and the line was obviously leaking a tiny bit where it was hooked up cause it wasn't that tight nor did it have Teflon , when I opened it, my gauge (which is in the cubby hole, only read 600 psi. I tried using the bottle heater which went up to 100f and the pressure didn't rise much. Could this be cause the bottle is low? Maybe that tiny leak is causing the 300psi drop?

I would bet your bottle is low. A 10lb bottle holds 10lb of N02, does not mean the bottle weighs 10lb.

I know, the full bottle should wheigh I think 25 pounds I can't remember. Anyways another question is, how hot should the bottle warmer get? I turn it on to about 110f and doesn't so that much, but I've seen people leaving the warmer on for 10 minutes to get to 950psi...
Does temperature matter? In this case will making it really warm do anything other than increase psi?

temperature doesn't matter, bottle pressure does. Look at the guys that hit the bottle with a propane torch....

Oh yeah you're right. For some reason I thought that getting it too hot was going to do something to it but yeah people are doing with torches and nothing happens. Good point thanks!
