Default Zex NMU and Nos Mini

Hello Folks,
I was told over at THE370Z.com that this was the place to go for nitrous questions. I'm getting ready to install the Zex 82238 kit and was planning to use the Nos Mini Progressive Controller. My phone call to Zex was that it could be used and was told to just take the output from the Nos unit and hook it to the white wire on the NMU. Prior to calling I sent an email, well wouldn't you know my answer came today, it read that it would not work, the Zex NMU can not be made to run progressive. So my question is, has anyone run the Zex NMU in a progressive shot and if so can you please explain how you went about it. Thanks for the help.
Kindest regards,
Tom

I don't think you can override the Zex NMU with a progressive controller. Why not just use regular solenoids instead of the NMU?
