Default Nozzle location and puddling

So on the G my choice of nozzle location is either 2" away from the throttle body or 9" due to the way my intake butts up against the right firewall.

NX recommends 6-8" but it seems like the further away you get from the intake the higher the risk for fuel puddling.
On the other hand if its too close to the throttle body will it still dissipate evenly to each cylinder?

I see some people mount it close to the TB, some have it further away.
Again, I over think things that's how I work. Interested to know what people think.

BTW my install is 99% done, I have taken a tremendous amount of pics of the install that I will post later.
