FS: X02/Magnaflow, Nismo
NEW Price $175 somebody on here must want a good deal on an exhaust.
Hey guys,
I have an X02 exhaust that i am looking to sell. It is not quite a year old but was only actually on the car for around 300 miles. I took the exhaust off because i had a set of semi-gutted cats on the car at the time, and coupled with this exhaust it was just a bit too loud in the car for my taste. The resonators in the Y-pipe portion of the exhaust i replaced with a magnaflow resonated x-pipe which i never got welded into place. I test fitted everything, to get the lengths right and then took it off the car. I have since gotten a nismo exhaust, hence my reason for selling the X02.
Power wise i noticed a big increase in middle to upper RPM pull on the butt-dyno. Much more noticeable than the nismo, which i honestly couldn't tell a difference.
Fit and finish on the exhaust is overall pretty good. it definately needs to be installed by someone with access to welding tools to weld in the x-pipe, and the passenger side exhaust tip hangs around a half inch low. other than that there are only fingerprints on the pipes from the test fitting.(no rust whatsoever). The tips are relatively ugly as is generally the case with these exhausts. But i did note that the blueish ring around the tip edges appears to be painted on there so i would imagine it could be removed to achieve a polished shine on the tip with a bit of elbow grease. I also have all of the bolts and gaskets except for 4 bolts which i used to install the nismo exhaust.
The Nismo Rears i Have for sale i purchased around a year or so ago from a vendor on this site. They are not cracked or anything i just never got around to getting them put on the car. Could use a sanding and then should be ready for paint and install.
NEW PRICE $175 for the exhaust and x-pipe. Shouldn't be more than another $100 do get it fully installed.
Any questions just shoot me a PM. Im on here pretty regularly.

No the x-pipe is not a direct fit. It mates up pretty well it just needs to be welded in to prevent leaking. For testing i just used pipe clamps. The x-pipe greatly improved the sound of the exhaust, it just leaked a little at the pipe clamps so welding it is a must.
