Default Update tandem drifting!

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
PLEASE READ IT, ALL MEDIA AND ALL REGISTERED DRIFTERS!
Tandem maybe... cageless maybe? keep drifting fun is our motto'
A lot of you are wondering if it will happen again and finally we got word from the track that CAGELESS TANDEM WILL HAPPEN!

But, there will be some changes as the the track and us wants 100% safety and zero incidents; we've been battling with the track and came to an agreement for a standard format that you must follow:

1. Years of experience.
2. Attended at least 2 of our drift events.
3. We will be the judges of approval for you to tandem or not.
4. To request approval, send us an email to NODRFT@gmail.com and we'll check out your bio then approve or deny.
5. If you have a caged car and are somewhat new to us/drifting, you can only tandem with other caged cars.
6. CAGELESS: We will introduce and implement "shadow tandeming", which is not the usual door banging style of tandem; at start, lead and chase car will be spaced apart by 3-5second intervals. This gives the following driver reaction time if the lead driver spins out.
7. CAGED CARS: will not need to follow the shadow tademing criteria.
8. We ask that all media and drift entrants come early and DO NOT miss the driver's meeting as we will be going over important details and safety zones throughout the day. Drivers meeting will be between 8:30-9am.

Because of the risk factor, tandem increases insurance and we have to charge higher pricing:
Tandem Drift PRE-REGISTRATION: $75
Tandem Drift LATE-REGISRATION: $85(may 20-26)

We want to make drifting as fun as possible with addressing 100% safety all in one, keep in mind that tandem(caged or cageless) is a privilege, we ask that everyone drive safely and try not to go pass your experience level.

IMPORTANT! All Drifter entrants, this is not a competition so relax and remember that we have 8hrs of drifting all day long so if you mess up, theres always more chances. Also, after approval and payment, you agree and enter in a bonding contract that negates any lawsuits which may result from any incidents, no matter if it's single or tandem drifting. You know what the sport is about and the consequences involved so keep all of this in mind. It's your role to drive safely. See you on drift day!
