Well, seems like a lot have already been to kart2kart but for those who have not - like me- here's what I found out:

They are open 11-11 Thursday through Sat and 12-8 on Sunday. There are open during the week also but I don't think we want to go on a week night. It's $20 for 10 mins on the track except for Sunday it's $15. The maximum on the track is 12 and of course we can all go together at the same time.

It's on Van Dyke South of M59.

I would suggest going Sunday 1/30. This is far enough in advance to plan and the weekends before that there's the auto show so we may not have as much participation.
If not we could also go on 2/6.

Who's going !?

Default ZdayZ

well the rates are pretty good depends on what you want to spend acutally. i stayed last year in the main hotel, rooms were 59 a night and were in the middle of everything! i made my reservations from the 17th to the 22nd get there before dark and everyone elese. call 800-849-2258 tell them you are part of the zdayz 05 event and get the 20% off prices

I'm ready to take 2 days off work for this. Leave Wed night and stop halfway or leave Thursday morning. Anyone interested in sharing hotel rooms?

The car show is on Saturday and the Dam pictures are right after and this year we are having a BBQ dinner. So drive up Friday and stay till Sunday or you will miss the gathering of the Z's. And the t-shirts will be very impressive the logo I am using is the front of the t-shirt. fyi

Well Mike and my son and I are for sure leaving with the group from Illinois on the 17th. And that would be awsume if more cars went. The reason I have to be there on the 17th is to help setup and maybe take you guys to the white water rafting or the Dragon what ever you want.

i really do want to go. i'll have to discuss it with Chris, because i wouldnt want to drive down there by myself. so you think about 600 miles each way? eh, i didnt drive the car all winter, i could afford another 1200 miles on it.

is there an official thread about the event?

I just talked with Stillen and my stuff is suppose to be shipped today. Oh, Dick Scott has some stock parts for sale. They took them off of a Z with 20 miles. They NISMO'd it out. I understand they have stock headers, cams, and exhaust parts

I figure more like the ride up and down 1000 miles for sure, but it is the dragon that gets the miles! If you go to sit and talk and not drive than sure,a grand in miles, if you drive the dragon it is more like 1200 for sure.
Jon the more stuff the better it is, the more you show off! That is what it is all about and if you are the one with the pullies sure man bring extra to sell donate as prizes or give me a set to show off than that is all good!!
zdayzevents.com is the ones with of my pics on it from last year and my car and Doc Bones and even me in a few of them!!
I promise it will be a meet of meets with the Z's in mind!
The ad pages for sport Z magazine look simply fantastic and are going to print soon.

No intercooler on the Stage 1 but I have an in for a Ford 3.8 intercooler. Thats the intercooler they put on the new SC thunderbird. I was told it was going to be shipped yesterday but they still have not charge my Credit card and I have heard nothing. I guess there is no hurry though. Snowing now.

I will be buying some things before the trip to TN though. Body kit. I am trying to be different on that.

I think it would be good to plan a local Z event for late March at Discount in Ypsi. What do you think Misha? Would Chris be up for that?

Than we have the May meet out at Stoney Creek with the tuner crowd. You have to admitt this time of year sucks if you live in the north. Mike I ordered the clamp kit from the Zeetoys site and Terry said he may be coming with us to the Zdayz event. I ordered the clamps and jug caps with Z logo in them should be cool with the samco hoses and red hd belts!

haha, the dude that was going to buy my Z backed out, and so I had to back out from the guy i was buying the evo from....and then i gave up on selling the car. im glad it came to that, i love my Z. although i do wish i had that stock turbo and back seat, the Z is just so more beautiful. And i havent driven the Z in over 2 months, and wont for another 2 so it makes me love it even more because i cant wait to drive it again.

evos are faster and all, but the Z just fits me perfectly
