Brainerd Int. Raceway

Does anybody know if they have open track days for the road course at B.I.R.? If they do we need to set up a track day, or atleast have a meet during an open drag night, just a thought

Oh, and does anybody else on here from MN own a NISMO?

I have not seen any Nismo's driving around. I did see a black one at the dealer in maple wood

http://www.brainerdraceway.com/road/open_track.html

This type of meet/event has been discussed before. It's too expensive to organize a club event there. We're talking in the thousands.

I've only been up there once for open track, and that was organized by a SCCA amateur racer who fronted the money. We all paid him back and then went up there for a weekend.

I'd do it again if someone else could organize it.

Well, can't we all just go as a big group and run our cars like normal people? No need to rent out the place.

That seems like a better idea, just have a meet during one of the open drag nights.

From what I understand, that's the only way to get the track and enjoy it w/o waiting in line. You get a large group of enthusiasts who pay upfront, and then the track is closed to the public and is all ours.
