Post FINAL: Cities to Duluth Summer Cruise Details!

WHEN: JUNE 28 2008

IT'S THAT TIME! The trip is less than 10 days away and I wanted to start getting all the details sorted out as soon as possible.

Here's the map with directions and stops plotted out:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...25363&t=h&z=16

A) First, you guys at the cities pick a meeting spot to regroup and head on over to Duluth (best if early -9am?).

B) Second, We meet with the other Z/G's at location B (which over looks lake superior) and talk about the rest of the day and gauge what we're gonna do based on what people are feeling.

C) We drive into Canal Park. This is the downtown area of Duluth and the hot-spot for the city. Plenty of hotels, restaurants, bars and shoreline to go around. We can Park here and eat, hang out and do whatever.. play it as we go.

D) We leave Canal Park and take the scenic route up to two harbors (40 min. drive up the shore). We park by the light house, take pics and decide on weather or not we want to keep going onto destination "E".

E) Drive along the water to Grand Marais and enjoy the scenery. I've never been there but I can't stop hearing enough about it. Just picture cliffs, water and oversized light houses lol.

At any rate, Thats the gameplan!

Please use this thread to voice any concerns, talk about where you wanna eat or ask me any questions.

The most popular question so far seems to be the "Should I sleep overnight" question... I think that if you can sleep over night or share a room with someone -DO IT! In addition, If you have an inflatable mattress you can crash at my place. It's gonna be a fun trip and well worth the stay if you can manage it.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Lastly, here is the list of people I have signed up to go as of 3 weeks ago:

1. Alex (dzine07)
2. Ben (Silverstone-Z)
3. Steve (sw150) (if in town)
4. Janik (WannabeSS)
5. Nick (Sotomatic)
6. mn300zx
7. Andy (G35c 6MT)
8. l l Vitty l l
9. En4cer (tentative -schedule)
10. Ben(350z -buddy of Dzine07)
11. BlueVQ
12. skyline350gt
13. Eric (SnoXRacer183)

and if its alright, some buddies of mine from work:
14. Ryan
15. Joe

Let me know if you want to be added or removed. I will keep updating this list as i get names.

I think the actual number was 628.7, but I don't have a chart. this was @ 20 psi with a boost leak and a timing issue. Regardless, it didn't last more than a few miles.....

well if you have an air mattress you can crash at my place =/

plus i get discounts at comfort inn and suites. you guys are only gonna use the hotel to shower and pass out anyways. you can stay at a motel 8 and still be cool.. rooms are like 35 bux for two beds. let me know what i can do to help! for sure, its worth the stay if you can do it. then the following morning we can get breakfast at hell's kitchen or something and chill out.
