I'll plan to go to some, although the car won't have the vinyl completed more than likely. I'm barely getting anything done during the day with this puppy haha
Yeah sometime Sunday afternoon more than likely. Probably around 4pm-ish is my guess
You should stop by my place in hamburg on your way so I can see this wrap. I may be getting stuff to do a wrap soon and want to see what Im getting into.

Yeah I can plan on that. Hopefully I'll have a bit more. I can show you what a first time wrap will look like with small imperfections and shtuff.

Honestly thats exactly what I want to see. I want to see what I am getting into and what you've learned doing it once.
Also, what would you consider to be the best kind of wrap for a first time wrapper to get?
I talked with mr sparco on here who does a ton of vinyl work and he said that Avery is the easiest to work with. The only drawback is that it doesn't have as long of a life when parked outside as compared to 3M. Brian McCann also echoed this. So I guess that is the tradeoff you get. 3M lasts longer, but is slightly more expensive and is just a tad harder to work with.
I personally am using Avery and am very pleased with it. Very easy to form to curves and easily releases air bubbles. I've only experienced a few places of marring and scratches, but that is my own fault either from rushing or overstretching.
I can show/tell you a lot more when we have the car there in person.

Sounds like a plan. I look forward to hearing/seeing your experience. Maybe I can repay you in the form of a ride with the vortech
You guys need to take some health and wellness aka exercise science electives... Thats where the eye candy is at, just bring headphones to cancel out the noises....
I tried to wrap a factory spoiler... First attempt was a miserable failure with cheep wrap... Second attempt was much better with 3m wrap... It's still definitely not perfect or probably going on the car... It was a huge ***** going around the tight curves... I used a heat gun and must say the 3m was pretty much worth whatever extra I paid for it.

There no time for these shenanigans. Between my classes and my internship, I do 55 hours/week. Add homework on top of that (which is always WELL over 10 hours/week) and my schedule is pretty packed in
Rust usually means you go to take the bolt off, quarter turn, and SNAP...
Yup. I snapped all 4 of the cat to y-pipe bolts immediately. Would rather have that happen than deal with one that won't turn even with the power of Hercules (aka- big freakin pipe for leverage)
I dont know if I should even bother trying to get the cat-y pipe bolts off or just attempt to take the cats off. We will see how it goes, my last attempt was a miserable failure.
I got a sweet borla and a set of berks hfc that have been sitting around for months... My bolts look like rivets... Think ill need to cut them off and then drill out the holes. My cat to manifold bolts are a little better but I dont know if I want to open up that can of worms
