Yeah 5mm would be perfect. Only issue is it would hit the front suspension then since it's a 19x11 up front. Only have like 4mm of clearance already haha what I need is a fender pull

And yeah the actual threads are where I put it. I found that there was some wiggle room between the threads and tapped portion of the ****. Put some tape on the actual shifter threads and screwed the **** back on and all of the rattling stopped for me

My brother has a fender roller so we could take care of that if you wanted

And I took the **** off and drove with it like that, still rattled so that cannot be the issue. I think I'm just going to tighten the bolt that connects the shifter to the trans and see if thats the culprit.

Might take you up on that then...curious how the vinyl would react to that much heat to keep the paint from cracking...

And yup, definitely a different issue. Hopefully you can find it. I know how aggravating that can be

I see a couple possibilities, the worst is that the fenders would need to be redone. Maybe if it does mess with the vinyl, it will only affect it under the fender where you can't see it.

Either way, the heat can't be too much worse than your tire hitting it all the time.

I raised it up for now to the point where it doesn't hit. I'll run it like this until I decide on a different tire. The fact that it hit the top of the arch on the fender liner tells me the tire was too tall, so even pulling the fender won't fix all my issues. I loved the front of my old setup and didn't like the rear. Now I love the rear of this one and need to fix the front. Need to rebarrel to 19x9.5 +0 in the front haha

What I really need is bags...

And I cracked my catalytic converters in the process of it all... And its still much quieter than it was with my ghetto exhaust.

Dont think im losing much out of the cracks they are like hairline cracks...

It did sound mean with no exhaust.

First exhaust I did was a simple muffler delete. But it WILL get to you after a while. The drone just builds up and eventually starts eating at your brain like maggots.

But what kind of sound are you looking for?

Actually I think it's hard to beat the stock exhaust sound. My original exhaust broke off at the flange. I probably would want an s-tune but im sure this borla will grow on me. Im sure once the berks go on it will liven up the sound.

If a TDXV2 came up for sale nearby and not for 1500, I'd take it.

Also, got the new polyurethane bumper on. Fitment is pretty spot on after making templates to drill the holes. Will fine tune when I take it off to wrap it.

Alright so my rear diff bushing is shot to hell, and im pretty sure my vlsd has become extra limited aka open... My brakes look like ****... And my back tires are bald as bald can be....

I had a shopping cart all made up with brakes, spacers, and rear diff bushings from z1 but then I was thinking why get spacers when I can just get a whole new set of wheels for 4 times the price... I need new tires anyways so I can get a whole package...

Then I was like well if im going to get the upgraded brake kit from Z1 I could spend a little more and get x-y-z

Then I was like while my diff is out anyways I might as well get a real limited slip and 4.08 gears...

Then I was like **** for all the money im going to spend I could spend a little bit more and get a newer car...

Then I was right back to how I started... First world problems too many options.

Yea there are too many options... In reality it wouldn't be tough to spend 10k+ on redoing the brakes and rear end and some suspension components

I know you could drop as much money as you want in this car...

I was about to order the hawk sector 27 rotors with pads and a whiteline rear diff bushing set... but ended up just getting the bushing set and a dog toy...

Am hoping that tire rack will get the hawk brakes in next month. If not I might get the z1 kit...

Im aiming towards the hawk ones I basically only need new rotors and pads and will probably get calipers locally after I bust off all the bleader screws...

But if I dont change the lines or the fluid I might be fine... My rotors are embarrassingly rusty... And my calipers look like **** too. I dont really need anything special just looking for something that's not 12 years old.

Was going to change out all the studs for arp and run 20mm spacers but I think ill talk myself into some new enkei wheels and a little wider tire.
