Well, I just got done buffing and waxing the ride. I'm gonna leave in about a half hour. It's only $5 to enter but I dunno if I will. I'll have to check out the competition first. If anyone decides to go, I'll see you down there.

I almost wish you had gotten there earlier and taken the trophy instead. Before I got home tonight I stopped by BlockBuster to get a movie with the g/f and some girl backed into my car.

Talk about bad luck.

The damage isn't THAT bad and I got the girl's insurance and ODL info but damn... I hate having to deal with getting estimates, talking to claims adjusters, and driving around ghey ass rental cars.

oh dude that sucks. is that just more paint scratches on your bumper? shouldnt be too horrible to deal with.

It's mostly just paint scratches but the bumper is also pushed in a little bit; enough to where they'll have to replace the bumper. Also, the rear quarter panel is dented a bit and pushed up. The gap between the headlight and the quarter panel is non-existent towards the front of the car.

The body shop quoted $1700 in damages and I'll get a freshly painted rear end.

Now I have to decide if I want to have a rental over the long weekend or drive my damaged Z because I won't get it back until next Tuesday.
