I just got my car back from RJ's Paintshop in Pleasanton. I got my hood, roof and back bumper fixed from rocks hitting my car. The work was AMAZING, looks brand new, they even fixed my door ding for me, for FREE!. They work with you with the pricing too, I used my insurance though. Customer service was great. Will definitely come back here again, I'm glad I found a shop that I can trust. Here is their info:

Vex Motorsports in Santa Clara - Ask for Herb and only Herb. He did my clutch, flywheel, and headers. He will be doing my brakes, wheels, bushings, and lsd swap next week. He does good work and he's the most inexpensive tuner if you do several jobs at once.

Z Car Garage in San Jose - The cream of the crop. Rob does amazing work. He helped with my Vortech install and did my Uprev tune. He's pretty expensive compared to Vex Motorsports but he does the best work and he knows your Z inside and out

Sonic Motorsports in Mountain View - They are well respected with European tuners and do great work. They are expensive and can take time to do a job but, like Z Car Garage, it's sometimes worth paying a little extra. I had them roll/cut my fenders because they seemed to have the most experience.

Rearend Specialties in Santa Clara - If you want an LSD installed, go here. I dropped off my pumpkin, an LSD, and $140...I picked it up the next day. Nobody can come close to this price.

I've been to SonicMS for my other car, however, its not as great as describe, Darwin is cool to talk with and everything he said sounds great. However, they are not really a tuner, they bring your car to other place to tune. They are not expert in body work either, only simple work such as installing wheels and lips. But one thing they are good at is alignment. If you plan to align your wheels, they are great to go although a little more expensive, it still worth so.
If you're from Indonesia, then its a good shop for you as they don't charge tax if you pay cash. I simply know that because they charge me tax when I pay whereas they did not charge tax for my Indonesia friends.

I might have to disagree with you. I'm not Indonesian and I wasn't charged for tax when I paid cash before.
I know Vex does that too.

I haven't used them or anything, but they seem to use Zaino products:

Default Programming and cut spare keys

hello folks,
I need to install an auto start and alarm system for my car and looks like I need a spare key for bypass. I do not have a spare key , so I did buy a few chipped keys from eBay and would like to get it programmed and cut.

Do you guys know any place local who could do this job. I do understand that the dealer does this task, but do not want to pay absurd price.
Please let me know, if you guys know any good locksmith.

Awhile back I had to reprogram a key and ended up going to the dealer. The easiest way for them is looking up the key code based on your VIN. But for my car, the code wasnt registered and they had to reprogram it another way. (This is what they told me and I'm assuming its the truth).

Anyways, I went to Nissan Sunnyvale and talked with the service manager. Was able to get it done for $70 flat. I provided my own key.

Default Any Good East Bay Audio/Video installers...?

Who does good audio/video install work in the Bay Area? East Bay is preferred but I'll go South if necessary.

I've got all the equipment but not the time to do it myself...

P.S. It's for my Ford Excursion not the Z...
