Man I wish we recorded our afternoon session times. I was a mess in the morning...
I was trying to catch the Evo!
Yeah, I don't know why they don't record the afternoon fun runs - they used to.

Scott, what are you using for an exhaust these days? Did you just weld a turn down on the shockwave?
More-or-less. We made that 45-degree turn down for events at Laguna. It is welded onto a straight-through glass pack, which v-band clamps at the junction for the megaphone tip for the shockwave.

don't think I will have my new Nismo ready by tomorrow. Probably going to miss the first UFO event of the year
It was a fun, although wet, event. I hope they do that track again in the dry, as it would be quite fun.

Saturday was good! I really liked the course. It had several short straights where the power of the VQ could really shine. The weather was FREEZING though. I worked first and froze my *** off. It took me 15 minutes with full heat and seat heaters on before my jaw un-clamped.
I've been doing some reading the last month and it paid off at the event. My driving is slowly getting better.

You worked first (in the 1/3 group) then drove in the 2/4 group in the morning? Any pics of your Z? I didn't see another Z out there but the one I co-drove. I don't think I saw one on the scoring sheet, either.

Updated the first post with the known schedules for NorCal UFO, AAS and SFRSCCA.
Might as well add the Duel at Deanza, which I believe will take place 5/15.

Ah, didn't know there was a date for that yet.. I'll list it tentatively for now. UFO's also doing a driving school I plan to participate in.
Sweet! Get that form mailed in! It's a good school (I'll be out of town though).

There's a ton of events indeed. There's more.. GGLC, PCA, BMWCCA and even the Sacramento SCCA region.. A bit harder to get with the first three clubs as they're more selective but it can be done.

That is correct. I was in a stock G35 though. Here's my baby (and my baby too):
I didn't get super good times, but I improved every run and I learned some things.

She was there with you, too, right? If so, I saw both of your babies! I would have said "HI" had I know you were. . . uh. . . YOU! Next time (Feb for me, not end of Jan).

Yes she was...came in time for runs 2-4. I'll be there in Feb (going for #1 DS this season, so I need to be at all events)... I'll see you then. I also plan to be at the driving school.
Does anyone know what the test and tune is about? Would it be worthwhile for a stock car?
