Good read here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1781309
It was a laser. Im not even running a lot of front camber (-3.3) I was told I should be in the -3.8 range for fronts. Tires were flipped once lol.

PS: are you coming to Laguna on Friday?

RS3 do like a lot of camber, but your temps indicate too much camber and/or not enough tire pressure. I lean more on the 2nd factor, and increasing the pressure may bring your middle temp up enough to be in good combo with the rest of the tire without adjusting the camber.

Just confirmed that I will NOT make it this Friday to Seca. It should be a great day, and I was hoping to get the now-very-quiet NISMO out there to stretch its legs on the RC1s, but it just won't happen this week. Maybe I'll just pop in with the X5, and just run a few laps to get my points logged in PAF! Heh.

Ha You are currently in 1st but Milton is close in 2nd. Have you taken your x5 to ls before? curious what kinda times an x5m runs around the track?

I did 5 few laps while the Z was resting a few weeks after I bought it, so it was still on the OEM RFTs. It ran a few 1:51s, two 1:50s, and a 1:49.9. It had more in it, as I was still being cautious when we ran out of fuel on that last lap. On the non-RFTs that are on it now, I bet it'd run 1:47ish if I pushed a little harder.

Here's a neat promo of the x5m vs m3:

Here are my laps:

Nice Scott! I dont know you drive other cars to track too beside the Z.

Btw, I dont think I know you guys yet majority from this thread. I was with SpeedSF at Thunderhill 5 miles last time. I saw quite bunch of Z drivers but I only got a chance to speak with some of them. I'd like to get to know more norcal Z track junkies.

I was driving a white Z with bunch of decals on it, if anybody remembers.

It seems driving SUV is good idea to learn the lines. It's easier to see when to enter the corner. (higher ride height)

A few issues one of the bigger ones is I couldn't justify spending $281 on a 90db ls day.
