9 July Bug Juice show
I posted the offer to have a gas powered Power Washer there in the mornng before the formal show time for the road travelers but I haven't received any feed back. I have now given up this idea. I did leave the posting for the car wash though. East Bay rolling hills do have some very colorful bug juice hits the past several times I have traveled that way. Where the caravans start, Zs will follow.

That would be about the right time to leave, I just mapped it and by leaving your place by 5:00 am would put you exactly at the Sac meetup at 7:00 am.

Received your text (or Cindy's) this morning about the possibility of joining us. That would be great, it's free a/c in S. F. and sure beats the heat where you are. Let me know no later than Friday night so we can make the stop OR just have you merg in with us at Fairfield. Fingers Crossed!

Uhhhhh.....guys I am heart broken... my car took a semi tire in the snout today enroute to S.F. and where else did this happen....one guess....the only spot on I-80 that has been notorious for the last three years for damaging cars........FAIRFIELD.....I hate driving thru there.
Scuffed up the clear bra pretty bad on the blacked out grill, the lower bar. BUT it looks like again, just like what happen to the bro's (hit a piece of sheet metal). It looks like the clear bra (Venture Shield) did it's job....we will see when the clear bra gets pulled off to see if it saved the paint. Although I may not be as lucky as the bros as his was on the OEM paint. Mine is on an aftermarket paint, so it may pull the paint when they pull that section of the clear bra off. Fingers Crossed.
I said at first that's it...we are canceling our showing at Brisbane and gonna go hiking in the Sierra's. Then as the day went on in S.F. I cooled down and will prolly go with the car as is if I cannot get an appointment with my installer and might have to have the grill repainted which would need at least two weeks for the paint to cure before a new clear bra can be installed. I am hoping for an appointment for Friday with installer. If not will go with it as is and maybe place a giant size placard on the ground that would cover it up...haha.

Curtis, that's horrible to hear about the damage to your car! Stupid semi-recaps! They can be quite devastating! If we can make it to the show, we'll probably meet up with you in Roseville (we'll come down Friday night).
