Talking Upcoming So Cal Events planning ahead...UPDATED 4/26/04

Hiya all,

I've been thinking, with all this cold weather and rain I'm already thinking about the summer time. Usually we make a trip or two to So Cal every year with caravans and such..

Here are the main events that are upcoming in So cal.

March 5th- Streets of Willow Track Day(350Z)
Details and registration: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=56134
Done

April 23-25th- MSA's ZCar Nationals (Biggest Z Show)
At Motorsport Auto in Orange, CA. https://www.zcarparts.com/
Registration: https://www.zcarparts.com/registration_form.htm
Done

June 14-19th - 17th Annual National Z Convention
Location: (Most events)
Nissan North America Headquarters
18501 S Figueroa St
Gardena, CA
90248-4504

Some of the planned events include:
Tuesday- Tour of Stillen Facility and Opening Reception (Mr. K will be there).
Wednesday- A couple of drives.
Thursday- Track Day at Willow Springs, Autocross at Streets of Willow.
Friday- Car cleaning day, Catalina tour.
Saturday- Car show and closing reception (Mr. K and Nissan officials will attend)

Group Z in SoCal will be hosting the event. For more info please visit their website www.groupz.com

Usually every year we make a trip to Z Nationals. This show really is the biggest Z car show and usually has up to over 500-600 Z's there on one day..Last year we went, and all the 350Z guys didn't get any sleep such as John350Z:P, Jason Dave etc.. I don't know if the SEMA show will be on the same weekand. Maybe Stillen might have an open house day. But if there are 2 events on this weekand it might be worth attending..

Because the Z Convention is going to be in So Cal this year. This is a must attend... Past shows have been in New Hampshire, Texas, and Las Vegas... So this is as close as it will ever be to us Nor Cal folks.. Pretty much every Z fanatic from around the world will attend this event.

After the Dec 20th track event at Thunderhill I'm sure most of you will be addicted and we can probably attend the Streets of Willow track event held by the So Cal group...

Anyways these are the events that I know are being held this summer. I'm thinking of only going down twice.. I know some people are booked and busy in advance, so you can't say I didn't give you any warning. If this is all planned right we will have a blast like always!!

Let me know what you guys think!

ZYA!!

We should gear up for these upcoming events... and by that i mean, we should make some shirts/hoodies with our group name & some logo (Do we even have a logo for our group?)

Just thought it might be cool to represent as a group, since we are gettin bigger & bigger...

Whatcha think?

hey guys... that's a cool idea with the z... the only thing i wanted to mention was the "nor*cal" part looks too much like a company called nor* cal... my company's stores sell casual wear from them, so i didnt want any problems to come up, since it is their design... don't get me wrong, i'm all for representing too... just not with someone else's style of logo...

Here is a little history lesson on Team Hardcore....
THC is a yahoo mailer I setup a while back to notify bay area 350z of upcoming events. Anyways, it derived from the early days when we would have meets/drives with 2-3 cars MAX. One of the most memorable drive was the MT. Hamilton during the middle of a thunder storm. Not to mention, back then it seems like it was raining at every meet... thus slogan rain/shine/day/night

Well, I'm glad the list has grown since a year ago. I encourage everyone to post to the list with info of other local 350z meets and drives, or use that list to setup your own meets and drives. And of course, add other fellow 350zers to the list

and of course I'll go for a shirt or hoodie. Let me see if I can come up with a design as well...

For those who didn't make it last yea the MSA show is pretty big. I believe they had approx 650 Z's last year and many more people.

Here is a pic off the MSA website:
