I'm patiently waiting for the Nissan dealerships to discount the 08 350Z's in the same fashion .

Lame. It was a stupid comparison and also laced w/misinformation.

Let's see an M3 get lifetime mileage of 46 mpg (what I'm getting on mine after 32K miles so far). Let's see it achieve 1400 miles on 1 tank at ~110 mpg via hypermiling (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05220/550484.stm).

You fail. Those batteries on the almighty Prius are eventually going to need to be replaced. This will incur a huge cost to the owner, and an untold detrimental environmental impact.

^let him continue to think hes doing the environment a favor. Guy will be shocked when his battery DOES die and he has to pay out the butt to replace it.

for all the prius owners:

I'm all about conservation, but people are really getting a little brainwashed by the whole thing.
