I thought you were going the FI route? Is this a blower cam? Stout numbers
Yup. I didn't bring that up but this is a milder cam of theirs. The next step up would be an NA cam and net prob 10rwhp more.
At this point though I want to add grip, then an rpm rear end with a higher gear ratio, hardened output shafts, and maybe an upgraded diff. If after that the car is still controllable I will add FI or if it stays wild I will do some headwork and call it a day. Knowing me I will go fi lol.
I want to get my stock wheel widened and put slicks on them. Nitto is releasing a 19/345 drag radial in 3/10.
Probably be my next tire for the rear. For fronts, have to see if the Invo's will play nice with the DR's out back. I drove my former 05 GTO like that (all seasons in front DR's out back) and it wasn't a problem.

Not me. I have my pretty forged 20s but will use the stockers for track time or if I happen to bend one of the wheel hubs. The idea of dr's 24/7 is scary to me because I DD my car and frequently drive in the cold+rain during the winter. Speaking of it was 40 degrees last night and the car was outside. Started right up after a poker game with perfect manners.
LS3 is the motor right?
gatti what year is your car?

sounds great!! Any advice on cam for my c7? Also lifters for it?
My best advice for a cam is ride in a car with a similar specd cam before you install yours. You can get a NA only cam which will be alot more power up top but not much more on bottom or a blower friendly cam like mine that is more middle of the road.
The more extreme the cam the worse low rpm driving will be. For example I've lost 60-63mph cruising in 6th gear. Car will buck like crazy.
The most important thing I can say is find a good shop to do the install and tune. If they just dyno tune the cam then walk away and find someone else.

This would be unacceptable to me and why I would have a hard time finding a cam to live with. I'd want solid driveability in all rpm ranges with no bucking. After spending the amount of cash I've done in mods before on former cars only to be somewhat let down with the results, my big modding days are over. Lol, probably why I like the Z06 as much as I do.

So you routinely drive your car at 1300rpm? I'm changing the rear end out sooner or later but for me it's a mild annoyance.

Thanks for the advice. What I want most is a little more top end hp and most of all is the sound. Mine is great at a dead idol but rev it up a little and it get way too quiet even with the cut outs turned on. Advice on the top end like what kind of rockers would you put in it?. Because this is the weak point of the c7 along if you want to F/I I have been told the walls are thin right?
For me getting the car dynoed it a 1000 mile trip
