ahhhhh... #1 made me shed a tear almost

#1 is a JDM WRX STI version 7 headlight... either 2001 or 2002. And if it's an '01 then it's a non-hid model.

I crashed my suby about a month ago and destroyed one of those

I had the über rare black-chrome version (that's the black version) from 2001 with factory hid. $2000 new, I got them off a wrecked STI in Japan for $900.

Going to be spending a good few months trying to find a replacement on Yahoo Japan auto auctions.
