I am not a photographer, but I think that if you could clear up the background in the last 2 pics, they would look better(I don't know if this is possible or not). 1st pic(sunset) is by far my favorite.

Keep up the good work Josh
I was trying to get as much depth of feilds as i could, but it was so tough shooting midday and trying to get her exposed with the background properly, i was as fast as i could go on the shutter. thanks for the advice though, sometimes it takes someone who isnt a photographer to notice little details that catch their eye
First shot looks great to me, the others look like there is too much flash, she looks artificially bright. I know you are trying to highlight her, but it just looks strange to me. Very nice shots though, and she's cute

You stripped your EXIF data so I dont know what your setting was but was any of these shot at 200 f2.8 at all? If not, why not? That 70-200f2.8IS is amazing, you should have been able to easily separate your background from you subject.
My favorite are #1, love the choice to keep the background and #5, but wish you could have separated the background from the model more.

2,3,4 ....lighting is too harsh for me.
the last two shots EXIF are both
1/250
f/7.1
ISO 100
70mm focal length
i couldnt open up anymore without blowing it out, i darkened it quite a bit i pp. i think the only way i could get a better DOF is if i would have stepped back and used all 200mm of zoom
Watch the models arms in 1, 2, and 3. You want a little bend in them. The camera really exaggerates hyper-extension. It's not too bad in 4 & 5 because of the pose.

Move the light away from the model. If you double the distance between the light and the model, you'll lose 1-stop or half of the light.
