went to charlotte yesterday evening to work on some pics for a project i've found to get a collection of pictures together for breast cancer awareness month (next month) for a calender to be released soon. i got in touch with shana and we came up with some ideas, unfortunately we just ran out of time to get all of them done and the lighting wasn't really cooperating, these aren't bad i'm just not really happy with them so we are going to redo these sometime this coming week, hopefully with better results!
i started off at 400 ISO, then 800 then finally 1600 for the shots in the parking garage. i was hoping to shoot before it got that dark so i had to make do, that's one of the main reasons i'm not happy with these. at least i got an idea of what i'm looking for in the "redo" set!

No worries, the shots were done well especially considering there was no flash used. The next set should come out great given you'll probably shoot with better amibent light.

not only was i limited to ambient light, i left my tripod at home (stupidly) thinking/hoping i would have enough light to shoot hand held and that just wasn't the case so i had to jack my ISO for that reason, the next shoot i wasn't as retarded
Yeah, forgive me for saying but those shoots are night and day. If you didn't tell me I would say they were from two different photogs. The second set Has great exposures and composition. Good stuff.
