You know, I do like the way the Dems have handled this situation. Eventhough they have attacked Obama he has stayed very cool with the smears...

I give him a lot of credit... Also, I saw his wife's interview on Larry King and Daily Show today and I admit that they are staying very calm.

Cant blame repubs are trying this new strategy where else can they go? They are losing OVERALL, the poll numbers speak for itself.

Deep breaths man, in and out - your going to give yourself a heart attack. I can understand your frustration. Our system is badly broken and it shows no chance of repair in the near future. We can only hope that the current financial crisis will cause the American people to demand true results from either candidate that wins this election and hope that a truly strong political figure steps out to start viable third party before the next election.

The Republicans don't want Ohioan Bruce Springsteen fans to be able to vote either.

This stinks to high heaven - and I have been aware of ACORN's activities in Wisconsin, and Governor Doyle's involvement in their corruption, and blockade of the repeated attempts by the Republicans in our State Senate to pass a voter ID bill.

Pure corruption, and nothing less than stealing of elections. This is due severe punishment.
Couldnt be worse than blowjobgate

WTF?

Did you think no one would read the links? Both links cover efforts to combat voter fraud! Youn know, like the fraud that ACORN keeps pushing.

Also you should read your own links...

As I said ACORN=democrats=voter fraud. It's no wonder the left wing press covers any effort to ensure people who vote are legit negatively.

Legitimate voting cramps the left's style.

Huh? Your links are cases brought to combat unverified voter registrations! What was the point of posting this drivel?

Have you posted on this forum under another name, RMichael? It seems like your only purpose in this forum is to attempt to counter anyone's post with some form of opposition - even if it's not valid - it doesn't seem to be important to you.

Read your own links.

That's a 13 minute hit piece, not an ad. It will have no effect, because the only people seeing it are those who have already drunk Obama's Kool-Aid, like you.

Is it not well known and common knowledge thar Dems will try and juice voter rolls by multi-registering and having even the dead vote. While Repubs do everything possible to supress the black and inner city voters by sending police to polls dressed in uniform and challenging registration efforts (such as ACORN) to hinder new voter registration. Both sides have thier dirty tricks in this one - its sadly just part of the game.

Sending police to polls dressed in uniform suppresses a vote?

The only vote that is suppressing is the ILLEGITIMATE vote. That's it. You cannot equate attempts to keep the peace and enforce polling rules with blatant voter fraud. Cannot.

There is no equivocation. There is a reason why ACORN offices are being raided in 14 states, including my own, where their tactics are well known and reviled.

I remember you stating in another thread that you would monitior your local voting place looking for fraud. I can imagine you walking up to people and asking for ID and who they are voting for, then berating anyone that votes for Obama. That alone may supress turnout in your area. Believe what you will StephanZ, I know you have all the right answers.

Having grown up in the inner city, I know what takes place at polling places. Police presence is not a bad thing, and anyone saying that suppresses a vote is engaging in hyperbole. That's like saying having cash registers in a grocery store suppresses picking up groceries.

First of all, Voter ID (which I strongly support) has been defeated in this state, multiple times, by the Democrats. I know exactly why that is: because ACORN and other complicit groups have been engaged in picking up illegitimate people to vote - in many cases repeatedly - at polls in precincts where they've identified addresses which can be used for that purpose. It's clear and blatant fraud. That is the only type of vote which a police presence will suppress, and I'm all for it.

If I were to ask people for whom they're voting, I would be violating the law. If I were to ask for an ID, I, again, would have no legal standing, or enforceability. That doesn't mean, however, that I could not discern something hinky in a voter, particularly asking things like "what zipcode does your address lie in?", or "ah! I know that block. What street is on the south intersection?"

Bad answers merit a flagging of someone's vote, for verification. That is a process which takes place now - they just don't have enough volunteers to track stuff like that down.

Are you against any of that?

If someone questioned me at all at my voting place I would offer them a hot cup of STFU. I hear what you are saying about ACORN and voter fraud and acknowledge that some fraud will exist. Are you not willing to agree that Repubs try to supress inner city voters and minority voters? I am not even addressing the issues of ballots that are confusing (remember the Florida ballots where people that thought they voted for Kerry actually voted for Buchanan?) and voting machines developed by companies that contribute to the Repub party. Voter fraud takes place on BOTH SIDES, just in differing methods.

Oh man, you're doomed, and you want to doom us in the process.

Hey Tom Tuttle: you're just flat out wrong. Obama is inextricably tied to ACORN, both actively, and ideologically.

Bravo, Bravo, thanks for switching to liberal tactic #2. Either refute the truth with name calling or just say "everyone does it".

You are never at fault, never to blame and never really do anything wrong. We should all just sit back and let the left screw everything.

Aren't you the one that hated Hilary so much? Newsflash she is no different than Obama except for the color of her skin and the two lumps on her chest. Politically they are identical and just as dangerous as the other. But go right on believing you have found a distinction without a difference.
