yessir. There could be a "Showtime at the Apollo" moment at the national convention where Sandman Sims comes across the stage w/ a big hook and pulls her off it (w/ her kicking and screaming).
This should have been the easiest election to win based upon Bush popularity polls but the Dems are finding a way to lose it. Of course having low popularity polls themselves in congress does not help.
On one hand, we got one party that says one thing & does another (Republicans that have not proven they are fiscally conservative) and on the other hand, the Democrats that cannot even run a primary & hope to run a country.

last night at my restaurant...a clinton volunteer delegate
Last night as I was getting ready to close, a fellow came in and wanted to grab a dinner and of course I obliged...a friend of mine from California happened to be there and chatted with the gentleman as I was preparing his meal...after chatting with him a bit he introduced himself as a volunteer legal aid/delegate for the Clinton camp and was on his way to the primary...he and my friend and I chatted a bit about the campaign candidates and I asked if he thought that HRC would accept the VP position if offered...he did say that Obama was probably not aware that the delegates would be the ones voting for that position and that the vote more than likely would go to HRC...he also added that she would be offering her support and admission of defeat within this week....soooo from the horse's mouth so to speak...there ya go...(neither myself or my friend told the gentleman that we weren't in favor of either candidate)
HRC & Obama together = more reasons for Dems to vote for them (women & blacks that might be more inclined to vote for one of them/not othe other) BUT also gives moderates more reason to vote for McCain.
I am amazed how both parties tend to nominate a candidate that appeals to their respective party but at the same time, does not make an appealing candidate in a general election.

I think Obama would be shooting himself in the foot if he took on Hillary. I think he would still win, but damn... please keep her as far away from the White House as possible.

I heard rumors of Clinton taking a spot in his cabinet running Universal Health Care. Just a rumor though, but this would be the nail in the coffin for him - since non of us (in our right mind) want Hillarycare.

Like Bush regarding planning Iraq & executing war, Obama will likely surround himself with people that think much like him thus not realizing that their circle of opinions differ than the majority.

...the gentleman also noted that the HRC camp was amazed how Obama's folks took his canadicy for 'granted'....my friend from Cali is politically savvy and thought that Obama would need Hillary because of her support base vs. his which has no real wealth...his money was raised from numerous contributors vs. HRC having major support from the years she and Bubba have invested in their plans to do what they've done...anywaysssss it will be fun to see how this whole mess turns out...I don't think that Obama can win without her on the ticket....unless he somehow amazingly rectifies the crap he's stuck himself with...spouse mouth's off, pastor(s) mouth off....and now he amazingly want's everyone to believe his past 20 year relationship with with the Rev. has any real consequence on his own beliefs and attitudes...to inject HRC on the ticket may get enough folks convinced he's an 'ok' kinda guy... he just might be convinced in privacy too that he needs HRC...we'll see...
how do any of you guys expect a black man or a woman to win the presidency ahead of a white man who happens to be a US Army WAR HERO !
lol, as much as I want Obama to win since the country needs a fresh new course, as the one the US is on is making them more enemies than ever and things are all on the verge of collapse, there is no way in hell that McCain could lose to these two even if they combined.
