All bi-partisan opinions aside, you have to appreciate Obama's humility and great sense of duty.

Could not stand more the 40 seconds of it. The cheering was quite annoying to say the least.

Ok I turned the volume down during the annoying cheering part. I got 90 seconds into it and can not believe people think he's this awesome orator.

If he doesn't have a teleprompt in front of him he's lousy at giving a speech.

He did pause a lot, though for impromptu speaking, I thought it was pretty good.

He's no Churchill by any means, but certainly more articulate and charismatic than anything we've seen in the last almost eight years.

But then again, I also think that Ron Paul is a much better speaker than Obama. (better ideas count for a lot)

I think you are right, I don't think this was scripted. In fact, it had a good authentic feel b/c of it (including the pauses).

Obama is a good speaker. He sounds authentic, because I think he truly believes what he is saying. Too bad what he believes in is what is destroying this country.

How many times have you seen Bush or McCain speak without notes or a telepromptor? McCain says "UM" about 50 times each question, unless it's about war.

I can't stand that dull manufactured look of optimism. If people knew what ambition and selfishness it was masking, they'd hate Obama.

I don't see authenticity there. He knows he is not the real thing, he just doesn't care.

I know. I hate how Fox News just throws the word terrorist around to scare people, and it adds insult to injury when the use it to describe something that has no relationship to terrorism. They trivialized the word.
