Default Chance the price of oil will level out.

Seems like there is a slight chance that oil will level out for this summer. Although i'm scared to see how high it goes next summer. Note: this is not a price of gas complaining thread, but rather an observation on how oil is effecting not us, but other countries as well.

Oil is like any other commodity: markets will react to the increasing price and offer increased services to quell demand/increase the supply/innovate.

At this point, the chance of oil in the future being lower than $100/barrel is much higher IMO than it being $200/barrel.

True. By next summer, I'm guessing it's gonna be close to $6 per gallon. (like in I am Legend).

Disagree with that Stefan. See the huge article posted in OT the other night, to which I posted a huge response lol.

If oil worked like a real market, we wouldn't be where we are at now.

Agreed.

The posts in off-topic really cover a lot of facets of the oil debacle that have not been covered in this subforum.
