I understand a very basic concept: Republicans have been moving left for a long time, and the more they move left, the more angry I get with them.
If you are angry with Republicans for moving left, you don't in response decide to support Hillary (which you have), and now, Obama (which you do).
That makes no sense, and I guarantee I understand what the Republicans are supposed to be absolutely completely. Let's see if you do:
Tell me: what kind of Republican would you support? What core principles do you need to see?

My favorite part about this story is that the Obama camp tried to make it seem like Alice Palmer set up that appearance. When they asked her, she said she was only an invited guest and only spent a few minutes there. Ayers and Obama set up the whole thing.

Palin had no relationship with the man that made the statments you are talking about.
Reverend Wright was Obama's "spiritual advisor" and pastor for 20 years. Until it became politically expedient to end the close relationship. Then, and only then, did Obama break it off.

Yes I did support Hillary and now I support Obama and my reasons are because they seem to be more in line with republican values than Bush, Chaney and now McCain. That is my view, if I'm wrong so be it, but that's what I believe, you can go on defending the new big Government, big spender republicans that you seem to love if that is what you believe.
As far as principles go let's start by really putting country first and getting away from the negative and divisive politics that has consumed my party since 1994. These new republicans have not moved to the left, they just moved out and sold themselves and our country for greed, all they have done is spread hate between ourselves, and almost ruined the country.
Abraham Lincoln would not be allowed in the Republican Party today, Teddy Roosevelt would not be allowed in the Republican Party today, and Barry Goldwater would not want to be part of the Republican Party today.

I did, and do like Mr. Paul. I voted for him in the primaries but he did not have a chance in hell to make it, mostly due to the Republican's inner circle lack of support for him.

I know your view. My point is that your view makes no sense. Defend why you think that Hillary and Obama represent Republican values more than Bush or McCain. The very statement is laughable.

They moved left, and continue to do so. The real Republicans are Conservative, and believe in lowering taxes and increasing accountability. Obama and Hillary support raising taxes and lowering accountability. That's the opposite of what real Republicans believe. Explain your position.

You're operating on a misconception - a really reckless one. This Administration is not Conservative. They are not real Republicans. As I have said repeatedly, the only resemblance I see from this Administration of Conservatism is their ability to lower taxes and the stones to go to where the terrorists live and take them out.
I do have a lower tax rate than 8 years ago. Bush passed a tax cut.

Quit shifting the premise. Obama, and his strident desire to nationalize health care, as well as punish those who have achieved, is directly antagonistic to Conservative values. Republicans are supposed to be the representative of these ideals, but have instead chosen to become Democrats.
Nearly everything this government does on both side is antagonistic to Conservative values. Gingrich briefly flirted with Conservative values with his Contract With America, but the last great display of Conservatism was Reagan.
