I heard this from an ex colonel in the army. He worked at the pentagon for over 20 years, and he's now retired. He still has close contacts and they told him yesterday that Obama just FIRED 600 military generals and replaced them with ordinary civilians with no military experience.. I dont know if this will hit the media, as it would be pretty devastating to us if a country that didn't like us found this out. Take this how you want it, but i have no reason to make this up. Just wondering if anyone else has heard something about this or what. I take him to be an extremely credible source.

Bunch of things about a dispute, but nothing about a firing. If it happened, it'd be brought to everyone's attention almost immediately.
Would it? do you realize the outrage that would take place if this was brought to the big media like Fox? I think you're seriously under estimating the gravity of this. I dont think any media station would go near it, especially since we are at war right now, and we don't want to look weak upon the the rest of the world, ESPECIALLY with a new president.
