Default Kids speaks more sense than a lot of Americans

What a legend!

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/vi...ledge.cnn.html

Great to see kids calling out the bs inherent in this country which likes to pick and choose what it follows in the constitution.

I am going to guess that this type of kid (not his intelligence- if any) is the type of people on this board. Beat downs are imminent in this kids future, but he will find a way to justify them.

Agree 100%.

Too bad most adults will be too busy wondering if they could take him in a fight than actually listening to him.

Seriously, who the f**k watches a video of a 10yr old kid and thinks "I bet I could take him"... bunch of delinquents on this board lately.

The bill of rights was never meant to be a complete list of our rights... I'm not sure how many times I'm going to have to repeat that in this forum.

until i see an amendment stating marriage is a right, i stand by my point. it doesn't matter what you "feel" should be a right, until Congress pass it...sorry, it's not one.

If your line of thinking was correct, are you suggesting we only have a few dozen rights?

In actuality, it's the other way around... unless the Constitution explicitly states that the federal government has a specific power to ban or enforce something, it doesn't have it. For example, no where in the Constitution or Bill of Rights does it state that we have the right to wear blue shirts... but that obviously doesn't mean the federal government can go around banning blue shirts. As I mentioned before, the Bill of Rights was never meant to be a complete list of our rights... and just because something isn't listed... doesn't mean we don't have it.

Regardless, the Constitution and Bill of Rights only apply to the federal government, not state governments. As far as I know, these marriage bans are at the state level... so bringing up what's constitutional is rather pointless.

your logic is flawed. the Bill of Rights doesn't give the Federal government the right to enforce or ban anything; quite the contrary. it forbids them from encroaching on civil liberties. and your example of wearing blue shirts is also flawed...even though it is not agains the law, it is most certainly not a "right".

in this day and age, Federal law supercedes State law. another reason our forefathers are turning in their graves.

Dad should be real proud of his boy. And obviously he is bringing him up very well and instilling great character in his son.

This is just by canadian stereotyping kicking in here, but isn't arkansas a little down south? And a little down south don't they not take very kindly to same sex marriage and the like? To me it seems like when this kid hits high school he's gonna get his *** kicked
