I really hate these terrorists/insurgents. But what really gets me heated is reading quotes like these:
"One man in the emergency ward vented his anger, screaming "May God destroy America and all those who cooperate with it!"
"A motorist who drove through Fallujah Thursday morning said Iraqi police and insurgents were cooperating, chatting amicably along the streets, and seemed to be working together."
Freaking idiots!! These insurgents blowing up your police stations are your own people!!! Start blaming yourselves. And the police seem to be cooperating with these bad guys?!?! WTF!! Plus, these guys are hiding out in mosques and other civilian buildings. We can't win this thing with our hands tied behind our backs and every media outlet waiting to bash the US. Screw these people.
I can't wait till the sovereignity is turned over. Hopefully the Iraqi government goes out and just plain kills these people. The US can't do it for political reasons. The Iraqis have no such shackles.
Pete (remembers that it took the Saudis less than 24 hours to kill 2/3 of Nick Berg's beheaders)

Here's what I would like to see happen. US pulls out, and let the Iraqis have the free for all that they want. After the country crumbles and they destroy themselves, we go in and collect the oil.

This is all to be expected. They're testing the transition. They'll test the transitional authority after the handover and they'll test the new government after it's created.
I think Pete has a definite point about how Iraqis will handle this.
Don't forget, though, that our military isn't pulling out with the handover of sovereignty. We're not going to leave unless the new government asks us to. We're there until they can handle things themselves.
