Hooray! Bush is finally planning some cuts to the federal budget! Maybe he will actually get his spending under control after he is reelected. Thanks for the heads up, Kerry!
Well, in many areas Bush started streamlining the budget years ago. The one thing that Bush has done to revolutionize government is by eliminating stove-piped structures in place of more horizontal / interagency ones. Want more info? I can supply it as my job is to work on ways to expedite these initiatives... I did find it funny how Kerry has mentioned this progress doesn't exist and that he will save government by doing so... errrr.. too late buddy, the PMA / E-Gov initiatives and have been in place and are moving forward...
I'd like to add that Bush is the first president that has an MBA and has successfully stood up a Federal Enterprise Architecture, which the aforementioned initiatives are based on.
