GT Motorsports Stages 0-5 HKS GT Supercharger System
Along with the introduction of the new HKS GT Supercharge system for the VQ platform, we would also like to introduce our staged upgrades for this already awesome system.
Below is a description of the stages we offer, and can currently be ordered through our website. These kits are in stock and ready to ship to your nearest PRO dealer as of today. Pictures are below, followed by the details.
This graph shows how much power can be made on a stock block AUTOMATIC car (expect 10% higher on a M/T), 91 octane:
Complete kit from HKS, no additional parts from GTM. Includes the following:
-GT Supercharger with self-contained Traction Oil system
-Oil Cooler
-Front-mount Intercooler
-Vehicle-specific F-Con engine management
-Fuel System ( Added injectors and fuel pump)
-Super Mega Flow Intake
-6 Psi Pully (stock) STAGE 1: $5,627.92
In addition to the kit from HKS, this kit includes machining to the supercharger which enhances its efficiency, a Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Temperature compensation kit, and a GTM Intercooler Temperature monitor.
In addition to what is included in the stage 2 kit, this kit adds (6) Denso 600cc injectors, and the smaller 85mm GTM HKS GT Supercharger pulley (3-4PSI more)
In addition to what is included in the stage 3 kit, this kit also includes a GTM Spec ECU flash, and replaces the FCon SZ provided with the kit to a FCon VPro (standalone EMS).
STAGE 5: $9,002.22
In addition to what is included in the stage 4 kit, this kit replaces the JWT FMU with a CJM Stage 1 fuel system, to create the ultimate supercharger setup.

i would love to see the person(to laugh) that dumps over way 20k in to a build with a supercharger that probably wont reach 600whp... a 4.2l stroker would be huge overkill for this kid of setup...you want to match a 4.2l stroker with turbos likethose on the aps extreme, maybe the bigger turbo version of the HKS tt kit, a PL gt37r, greddy with 20Gs, or jwt 850s.
BTW this is not to bring the hks sc down... cause IMO its the best out the box SC kit out there...and i understand the best isnt usually the cheapest.
If your goal is 600whp then the hks sc with or without a 4.2L is the wrong choice .I would not recommend the 4.2 stroker engine with hks sc due the limiting size factor of the hks sc .a good combination will be our new 4.0L stroker set up. It is a combination of a 90 mm stroke with a 97 mm bore, sleeving will not be required so it is a more cost effective option .
So far we were able to accomplish 400 whp and 400 foot pound of torque to the wheels with our Gtm stage 4 HKS sc with the 4.0L stroker engine (using factory cats ).keep in mind this package was designed to steel pass emission testing and requirements in California .also HKS will have a bigger super charger in the next few months ,which should allow us to brake the 500 RWHP .
By installing our temp compensation kit ,It utilizes a stand alone temp sensor in the intake manifold so we can have the right temp input and have more effective air temp compensation tables like (Ignition-air temp compensation tables) .
the picture below shoes the location of the MAF sensor(FROM HKS) where it makes the temp sensor reading useless .
knowing that superchargers in generals have higher Intake Air Temperature (IAT),it is always a good idea to know how effective is your intercooler .

Sam,
Will the bigger supercharger allow 500 RWHP and still be CARB legal?
I drive an automatic 2005 G35 coupe(daily driver).
I have been looking at kits for it. I am most interested in SC kits for the low-end power and reliability of using one with an auto transmission.
This kit at 400 whp should be enough, but that is alot of money!
I will confess, I was sold on the StillenSC for awhile, even with all the bashing that goes on. But my goals have always lied in the 400whp range. And the Stillen will only get me to 330whp, albeit much cheaper than the HKS.
