Exclamation GT Motorsports: GTM Twin Turbo Systems for VQ DE, HR, and VHR Engines

We would like to officially introduce our line of Twin Turbo systems to the market, they are now available for off site installation and tuning, please give us a call at the shop or shoot me a PM if you have any questions regarding the kits.

We are very proud to introduce the GTM product line of turbo kits for the VQ platform VQ35DE, VQ35DE-REVUP, VQ35HR AND VQ37VHR. All of our turbo kits are available in a tuner kit form so the professional and the end user have the flexibility of choosing what ever fuel or engine management solution they may desire and feel comfortable using. With that being said, GTM will also offer an extensive range of fuel system and engine management modules to go with our turbo kits.

The customer will have the choice of choosing from a wide range of Garret turbos, so that each kit will meet his or hers expectations and/or goals. The Stage 1 kit is coupled with a pair of GT28RS and our Stage 4 fits a set of GT3071 turbos with out the need of a scavenger pump, modifying the turbine housing, or mounting the turbos extremley low.

Our customers will also have the option of going internal or external wastegates. While internals will suffice for a low boost, stock block application, some may want the rock solid boost of a external setup, which is why we offer both.

Below is a description of all the components of the kit:

-Cast Ductile Iron Exhaust Manifolds And Turbine Housing
-Pre-Bent Stainless Steel Heat Shields
-Exhauset Manifold Install Hardware Kit
-4-Ply High Resistance Nomex Silicon coupler
-Stainless Steel T-Bolt clamps
-3.5 x 13 x 24 Bar and PLate Core Intercooler Rated 1000hp
-GTM Steering Coupler
-Polished Stainless Steel and Tig Welded Piping
-Pre-made steel braided oil and coolant Supply & Return lines
-Garrett's Twin ball bearing water & oil cooled turbocharger
-Twin Cold Air Intake System (using k&n filters)
-Dual TiAL 50mm Blow-off Valve
-HKS Internal Wastegate Actuators (standard option)
-Tial 38mm external Wastegate(optionl)with GTM Downpips
-All Necessary Hardware and Installation Instructions

GTM Stg1 TT, 9PSI, FCon iS, 5 A/T, 91 oct.

I got to see one of these kits up close at Forged a while back. It's deff a great quality kit. If I was starting right now, this would be my TT of choice. Congrats GTM!

Congrats - looks very well thought out. What is that blue box attached to the ECU? (never mind - I see the title of the dyno graph is FCON iS) And does the steering coupler preclude the need for grinding of the steering knuckle and/or modifying the downpipes? Finally it would be nice to have est whp attainable at xx psi for each kit/platform (e.g. what's the best kit for 550 whp on a DE - I presume there is a stage 2 and 3)?

Very nice!

I think that's the HKS iS piggyback if I'm not mistaking.

Thanks guys, a lot of work went into this kit, and we are happy with the results, 466rwhp at only 9 psi on an Automatic is great IMO.

We are not going after CARB certification since that is almost impossible with a twin turbo system.

Yes, and Yes. E-Manage ultimate will also work if you do not wish to use the FCon iS. Although I still recommend a standalone like a VPro or Haltech.

Select the drop down menu 'turbo kit stages', to see which turbos are available:

So the stage 4 is about the same power as the APS extreme kit?

Our kit is the only kit that comes with a true garrrett gt3071 ball bearing turbos .aps has a gt3071 center section with gt28 turbine and compressor housing (hybrid) jwt does the same thing with their 850 bb kit its a gt3071 center section and modified gt 28 housings .so to answer your question it is not the same as the aps extreme it is better flowing with more potential.
