Countless time with solid diff bushings and other types of braces on numerous Independent Rear Suspension cars have proven to greatly improve minimize these characteristics.

Another benefit to keep in mind is the added support for the diff itself. Normally, there is just one bolt to secure the diff. We have seen forum posts where that bolt has actually broken. Adding the brace gives a bit more peace of mind for the higher horsepower guys who don't want to risk something like that happening.

off the line will this make any difference for wheel hop?
I can imagine the torsion created under hard launches would lead to wheel hop and this would suppress it thus reducing wheel hop correct?
I know to eliminate it requires suspension but does this reduce it at all?

We quickly sold out of our initial batch, but more are currently being made. They should be ready for shipping by the end of this week, and we plan on having plenty available

So i got my brace. Simple install. Only thing that concerns me is that the aluminum subframe it mounts to is just a hollow box. The more you tighten it down there, the more is pinches in the box. Makes you wonder how much support it really gives as that hollow box is easy to flex. Headed to the track tonight if the weather holds out.
Either way, here are some pics... pretty much the same as the ones IP posted.

Thanks for the pics! Let us know what you thought about it if you were able to make it to the track.
Second batch is currently being powdercoated and should start shipping early next week.

I made 3 changes to the car all at once, so its hard to quantitate its specific impact. Either way, no wheel hop, and dropped over 1/2s off my 60'
The only concern i have now if jacking the car on the rear diff. Thats how i quick change my rear tires. Before the rear diff would compress teh mounting busing some. now its rigid.
does that mean that all the weight it being taken buy that aluminum box since that diff bushing isnt compressing?

I would recommend using the factory jack points, but fwiw I have raised my personal Z by the dif many times to switch tires since installing the brace and have not had a problem.
I did not have a wheel hop problem before, so I can not comment on an improvement there as I still don't have any. There was a very noticeable reduction in the drivetrain chatter/shaking that occurs with a grabby clutch (such as the Tilton I run).

Checked in this morning with our powdercoating shop across town, and they are in the process, but not quite ready to let them go yet. It shouldn't be much longer, but their lead times tend to fluctuate. I apologize for the delay; you are not alone
If it is urgent, shoot me a PM or call me and we'll see what we can do for you today.
Thanks,
Ryan
