I hope the editors @ SportCompact Car Magazine made the right decision to have their project Z get "built" at VRT. BTW Sam must be busy with VRT "fixes".

dozzer I tried to tell you about them I saw your car on the lift when I was there before they moved back to his house. I know it's hard to say or agree with something negative about a shop if it hasn't happened to you. Well now it has happened to you and at this point Mike doesn't care about anyone. I know that you were one of his first big builds when they first got started.

Well my car is at VRT and has been there for the past 3 months for a suspected broken piston ring. If anyone is wondering my car is the silver G in the back in the pics that Tim took. The problem with my car is I had a forged piston go due to detonation (maybe a injector problem according to Arias) my car was smoking like crazy like yours. My engine is being rebuilt by someone else.

I should be picking up my car next weekend and will have it inspected by someone else when I pick it up.

I feel I handled things the right way (thanks GN-X) I got the BAR involved and they jumped on the issue right away within a week of contacting them. I will also inspect my car before I leave with a witness since my left fender got damaged during Mike's fight. I wasn't told about my fender until a week later.

I have alot to say about my experiences with them, but the damage is done they are no more or on their way out.

I may of been the nail in coffin because my car was still there and the BAR rep had seen my car at the shop (handling another case) before it went to his house without permission. VRT couldn't hide anything the evidence was there. I told everything to the BAR about what was happening to me, everyone else and showed them the VRT thread on my350z with the pics.

Dozzer pm me your # I can give you my bar rep's number he will jump on it.

Derek

so whats going to happen when the magazine readers go look for the vrt shop but cant find it? Are they going to ask the magazine? Someone should write in asking where VRT is located and how could you 'the reader' get your car work done there. Wait for the magazine to realize whats going on @VRT.

VRT FTMFGDL!!!!!!!!!!!

Dozzer, sorry to hear it happened to you to.......I got rippoff big time by VRT, I dumped over 32K there and GTM ended up taking out everything out that VRT installed. The only thing that was still good on my zr was the engine and I think he had another shop built the engine.

+1! Yet another victim.

You would think there are at least a couple members on this site who are civil attorneys, have read the VRT threads, and see a prime opportunity ($$$) for building a class action lawsuit.

I'm also amazed that there have been no indications of a criminal investigation or charges for fraud after months of the same sh*t being alleged and exposed many times over with different customers/victims. There should be criminal repercussions for Miguel's criminal actions and I'm wondering if anyone has contacted local or state authorities (besides BAR) reference the matter.

well, to the OP i am very sorry for your problems. Sam will most definitely take care of you.

However, please type out your words. I am about to go to bed with a headache from reading the post you wrote. (and yes I swear i DID get a headache from that) Also, use something other than a comma to separate your sentences. Thank you.
