GT Motorsports: APS Twin Turbo, HKS FCon V-Pro, HKS EVC 6,

Devil Z drove down 17hrs straight to have us install a FCon VPro, EVC 6, and tune his car. His car has been running on the uni-chip for over a year and he felt it was time for an upgrade to a standalone system.

The Devil's Z

APS Twin Turbo System
HKS F-Con Vpro Standalone EMS
HKS EVC 6 Boost Controller
HKS SSQV Blow off Valve
HKS Navigator Pro
Innovate! LC-1 Wideband
GTM ECU Flash (no CEL)
GTM Tuned

So, after a long wait for Devil Z to have some free time to drive his car down from WA, this is the outcome:

Just curious,

what is the reason for the dyno graph to have so many small fluctuations in the 9psi tune?

Wired 24/7,

Sometimes with an internal wastegate setup the actuators do flutter a little bit that would cause a dynograph like this. Bellow if a graph that was literally a minute later and as you can see it is much smoother, this graph is at 8 psi.

The higher boost you run on "stock acutators" the more prone this will happen, even though it will not happen all of the time.

Hey George or Sam,

I have one question about the mounting position of the EVC 6! I also put mine on the exact same spot by cutting a hole on the center console (maybe a little lower.. mine is right up against the shifter curve), but the display is to faint on that angle for me to see it clearly while sitting in the driver seat. Are all EVC6 displays sensitive to the viewing angle?

+1
Had mine there and if you drive it hard, the screw holding the screen up will AlWAYS come loose and fold down when you get on it.
