Exclamation GT Motorsports: Out-of-the-Box Vortech S-Trim, Nismo catback, Utec EMS, 383whp 5A/T!

This is a perfect example of how good of a job a Utec can do on a low boost application with proper tuning. This car is as stock as it gets for a modified car Out of the box Vortech kit, only change the pulley to a 3.12 and switched out the split second with a Utec, same Vortech FPR, and Vortech aux pump.

What we did in this car that is different from most others is that we have the Vortech auxiliary fuel pump being controlled by the Utec, this give a very smooth delivery of power and transition when then auxiliary pump kicks in.

Clean install! The satin black finish almost makes it look factory. Sure helps to be incognito in CA.

Really clean Sam! Nice Power!

Quick question, how did you guys paint the TB. Is it powder coated or sprayed? Obviously you would need to rip the TB apart to powder coat.

looks great!
not bad at all for just the stock kit, 3.12 pulley, and exhaust
that's interesting about the UTEC controlling the vortech fuel pump

it's an automatic, so Sam starts his runs later in the rpms with them so the tq converter is locked up

sam, can u ask the owner if he would be kind enough to write a review on the kw's v1, cause i'm considering those for my car cause i don't really the adjustablility of the v2 and v3. is the v1 the same hardware as the v2 and v3 just not adjustable for damping?

something I haven't figured out is why does this car have a non-REVUP engine in it?
seems strange. Guess it was replaced and the ECU etc changed? Or is it really an earlier model with the new bumper, headlights, and taillights?

The convertibles didn't get the REVUP engine in '06, as far as I know

That makes sense too, so this thing is A/T and convertible, definitely no rev up for it
