Exclamation GT Motorsports: 500rwhp/455rwtq Vortech T-Trim, FCon VPro, GTM Built Engine

After not being able to hit our 500rwhp goal on the S-trim blower, Dave brought his car back for a T-Trim upgrade and re-tune. Car did awesome, we were able to extract 500rwhp out of this bad boy on 91 octane fuel thanks to our aquamist water/meth injection system. Enjoy the pics!

Wow you guys at GTM are fast. You just posted two finished cars within an hour of each other.

Great build, and awsome power for a vortech. Congrats to the new owner, I must say this is one of the first auto to 6sp manual conversions I have read seen personally.

Wow-SICK power curve, I love it, I bet the power comes on smooth in that thing. Power curve fits the nature of the car!

now that is nice!

thinking about it, that intake position is probably the best you can do on a vortech getting it away from the radiator and intercooler - unless your bumper has an opening right there. It'd be much easier to clean the filter anyway

what happened above 6000 rpms though? looks like things start falling apart after that. Is 6100 where the new redline is?

like i thought, heads and cams needed for big power. What headers were used?

what size silicon hose did you use for that intake? That looks sweet!!

Agree 100%. Definitely something that would make me look at a Vortech as an option!

is the RPM graph messed up or does this chart stop at 6200rpms?

what gives this build so much torque compared to the last dyno graph I saw of a Ttrim? is it the cams or the exhaust?

Yeah, it looks like a vortech with a CAI. cleaning the filter would be no more difficult than cleaning a filter for a normal NA CAI setup.

probably hard to simulate 130mph wind with some fans, hence taking the bumper off - or maybe it was just already off and no reason to put it on until you know for sure you won't need to mess with anything anymore
