Red face achieving 600+hp?

I have about 3k miles on my 2nd rebuild
GTM built and it's been running near perfect!
I don't have any immediate plans on going all out, but would like to get some feedback, nonetheless.

I'm still running my old tune from the previous build 500whp @12 psi on 91octane. and my torque numbers is a bit low @430, but I'm very content with the current power level. I'm still running unichip (no laughing please) and, if I were to get greedy, my next step is to go fcon+new tune, which I'm guessing my tq and hp will be at very low 500s. Here's a very rough spec of my build

- 8.8.1 compression
- I still have an internal wastegate
- gtm turbo cams
- stock headgasket
- arp headstuds
- 650cc injectors

I do not want to bore - will remain 3.5
will my jwt flywheel hold up at mid 500wtrq?
where would i end up with 15psi 100octane tune? I'll be more than content will upper range of 500whp and mid 500rwtq. thanks.

ps. crap, wrong section.. please move this thread to 'force induction'

Are you going for 500 or 600?

P.S. I think you posted this in the wrong section

Sorry didn't see you posted that at the bottom

You deffinetly have the equipment. I would suggest external gates if you want to get to 600, but that's just me. Are you running a return fuel setup?

the APS wastegate convers...might involve some fabbing if you have the older kit...+ a bling ecu / sensors and higher boost w/ new tune and maybe meth will be $$$. the additional 60-100 horse is not worth it imho...just drop in a utec and run 14psi for a fraction of the price...It won't reach your goal but it would be the most cost effective.

interesting feedback.. yes, I need to be cost conscious and would like to bypass anything that isn't worth the $$. hmm utec isn't something i considered, but I've seen plenty of people running them with good results.. so it might be a possibility.

i don't want to bother sam with an idea that I'm not too serious about. when I get some cash for a new tune, I'm bringing my car in and will discuss further about other options. As for now, I want to get input from others to get different perspectives on things. especially with any potential issues that people might've came across with high hp build and tuning.
