Looks like it is going to be a GREAT build. I have always wondered (I know it is personal choice) why someone would want to build up a 4-door.

Here's my problem with the build. Granted it looks entirely insane, and one of the cooler builds ever on a G35 or Z, but....
If this is going to be a track car, why put the interior back in? If you want a purpose built track car, then keep it purpose built, and get rid of the unneeded crap. The owner may want a "sleeper", but having the cage in the car makes it completely unstreetable because it makes the vehicle far too dangerous to be involved in crash in without a helmet. That's just my $.02, but I guess that's all it's worth lol. I can't wait to see the final results!

car is going to be tinted and believe me, you cannot see the cage. you have to get up close to notice it. as far as the slicks, the car will be on a different set of wheels/tires on the street. btw, this monster is going to see street action 2-3x/year but we are keeping all interior if we want to enter any shows.
can't wait to see her tonight chris.

exactly... he had little creativity(not surprised ) on how this can still can be a pretty bad "sleeper" setup on the street. THe th400 will be on the rough side, but plenty of supras and othe cars run them on the street (there is an acceptable level of compromise with confort for something that can hold mad power).

The whole Idea of this build is form and function. This is not a purpose built "race car" this is in fact going to be a driver as well. Look at our Track supra... That car had the stock interior... even had the stock radio! The Idea is to have as many ammonites that the car offered stock and still Get down at the track as well as on the street.
Anyone can gut a car, throw a racing seat in and call it a day... But with this car, the owner can run to the store and get some A-1 sauce for his steak! then go to the local track... Bolt on his Slicks and throw down a low 9 sec. time.
The 400 is not a bad as you think, I drove a supra with a TH400 about 250 miles round trip one day. at 72 MPH I was cruising at 3700 RPM. The car showed no signs of over heating in any way.

Yeah i forgot to mention that our stock radio was modified so the Volume **** was the Boost controller Volume. The display on the radio was the Wide band display. It was pretty trick. We have some cool Ideas for Vlads G as well.
