Exclamation GT Motorsports: GTM COMPLETE Turn Key G37 Twin Turbo kit, 455 rwhp 338 rwtq

This car came in completely stock (minus the wheels). We installed our GTM G37 Complete Turn-Key Twin Turbo System, along with a few other supporting mods and this car is making awesome power at only 5 PSI!

The new VVEL engines are truly amazing, although difficult to tune for the inexperienced, they flow so much more air than the previous engines, which makes them an awesome power house.

We are not yet done with the tuning on this car, these are only preliminary numbers on waste gate pressure, keep in mind this car is an automatic as well so the drive train loss will be higher than if it was a 6MT.

Hopefully we will have some new graphs shortly with a nice increase in power output

2008 Infiniti G37 S Coupe
-GTM Turn-Key COMPLETE Twin Turbo System
-GTM 2.5" Test pipes
-GTM 2.5" Cat-Back exhaust
-GTM Automatic Transmission Valve Body modification

Enjoy the pics, and please let us know if you have any questions!

The factory brace is removed in place of the intercooler, and the intercooler bolts to the factory brace mounting points via its 1/2" aluminum brackets,

This is why it is not pictured above.

Beautifully done! Congrats. GT2860RS w/ .86AR at 5 psi = 450 hp?!?!! Amazing peak power levels at such low boost.

EDIT: Is this valvebody on a 7AT?

Hey Raj, as you can see the torque number is still fairly low, the reason the HP number is so high is due to the efficiency of the VVEL system, that with the better flowing heads.

This is going to be THE platform to modify IMO.

Let's see how she reacts to more boost in the days to come

Also, the low torque output is going to place much less stress on the rods, so you can imagine how much more reliable this engine will be opposed to our engines (stock for stock that is)

For anyone curious about the impact of the factory bumper brace being removed, here is a good article that was found by one of our customers, terrycs:

Ridiculously flat torque curve. And I just noticed the date / time stamp on the dyno chart - 11:20 at night, west coast time.

The torque curve produced by the new VVEL engine makes it an awesome candidate for a road course car. The 370Z with this kit will be phenomenal!

We have been working late Raj, trying to pump cars out almost every day!

Just out of curiosity do you fit oil coolers to all TT'd VQ's since they already have cooling problems NA?

I've actually never heard of cooling problems on N/A HR or VHR motor ... at least as used in the G sedans and coupes.

The VHR definitely has cooling issues when it comes to mild track usage. It's been reported on several occasions...including some major car mags.

We always recommend a oil cooler and/or transmission cooler but it is ultimately up to the customer if they would like to add on or not.

For a street car, I can see going without one - it all depends on how the car is driven.

George, any sound clips of the GTM exhaust options? also, any GTM test pipes for the VQ35DE cars?

The G37S has the same style oil cooler/warmer as the DE did, is this included in these tests, or just the non S models/HR's w/ no cooler at all?
