Thumbs up FSP: 2008 350Z Nismo TT

The Shop Builds forum has been a little slow lately, so I figured I would share one of our latest projects with you all. Joe brought us his bone stock 2008 Nismo all the way from Minnesota for a few upgrades. Here are a few pictures of the install and the finished project. Enjoy

*GTM Stage 1 Turn-Key Twin Turbo Kit
*Motordyne TDX V2 Exhaust
*Berk Technology 2.5" Test Pipes
*Zeitronix ZT-2 Wideband controller / datalogging system with integrated DashDAQ touch screen display.

Awesome. I wish I bought the nismo edition if I could go back in time. Ask the owner if he's willing to sell me all his nismo body kit.

Also, your threads/installs are so neat and clean.

I don't have the dyno sheet in front of me, but I want to say it did 458whp 343wtq. This was on the standard GTM flash which has pretty conservative fueling and timing values. It is definitely a rocket on the street, especially with the stock tires

Customer is dropping his car off next week for fitment of new intake tubes that will allow the installation of the strut bar and the extra bracing that the Nismo Z's have up front

Yes. The car had very low mileage when he brought it in (less than 4k I believe). The customer wanted to leave it in for now. With his driving style, and the car not being his DD, the stock clutch should hold out for a while.

I am really suprised he would opt to leave the stock clutch in. Its cheaper & easier to install a clutch that can hold that kind of HP while the engine is out. I almost forgot to say wiser!

I only have 9kmi on my nismo and am already planning supporting mods for a TT install. I plan to use a Giken clutch. I'd be interested to read how the stock clutch holds upto 450-500 RWHP! It would have to slip without a twin disk

That is very true, but this install was done with the engine IN the car
