YEAP! thats what we were shooting for, and stillt he plan

UPDATE!

ok the kit is fully installed, Frank worked his *** off to make me satsifed with our time frame and for that i owe great thanks to Frank Hill and Hill's Garage

On a down side, with the map provided by Momentum we are having major issues. For the second time in a row, the tune was not on point and mine is actually worse than the first G kit Frank had installed earlier this month. It seems they have sent over 3 maps which appear to work on other cars at Momentum, but do not run smooth what-so-ever on my car. I was supposed to pick up today or tomorrow morning after some final dyno pulls and tweaks, but with this base map not allowing to even run the car it seems like Hill's will have to start from scratch on monday

Taylor any ideas to possible square this up?!

thats why its silly for any company to provide anything besides "base maps" in their kits.

yes, i had talked to Frank about it.

Basically we discussed that my ECU was the problem and our options were either see if Osiris could re-flash and bring it back, find a used one or if we had to bite the bullet and buy new. I have a temp. ECU on the car now, which run damn near perfect from the map provided by Momentum

WANT TO GIVE TONS AND TONS OF THANKS TO FRANK AGAIN, AND MOMENTUM FOR TAKING MANY HOURS TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM!

I can't remember the last time Frank worked on my car before 10pm....

Man puts in 16hrs a day. Only way he can pump out the volume of work he has on the schedule as a one man show.

I didnt know there was a build thread on here for your car. I was down at the shop for a little while with frank when he was tiddying up some things on your car. The kit and car looks good.

wooo!!! thank you for the pictures, stupid dirty engine bay need to finally get around to cleaning it now that i have a reason

i will be adding pictures up later and giving my full write up of franks shop, momentum themselves, what i went through the past 2 nd a half weeks and maybe some fixes to help avoid what happend to me

I CANT STRESS ENOUGH:
Frank Hill's dedication and effort into everything he does is by far the best i have seen. every conversation i had good news or bad there was a plan and a goal and it all revolved around what would benefit me the most

Momentum STEPPED UP and went above and beyond just selling a turbo kit. Together many hours were spent trying to figure out this very rare occurance and no one had given up even when the bad got worse and the worse fried an ECU lol. <== i can joke about it now

Peyton,
Congrats on new Turbo!!! I also purchased Momentum Turbo and hoping to have my engine build and add their turbo soon. After reviewing your comments with your shop and especially with service of Momentum, I have extreme confident of their product and customer service and hope to see good number on my Z

Please let us know your final result! Dyno numbers

P.S
Oh I too was told that Momentum film crew will be at Slowmotion Motorsports (my local shop) and they are going to film the install.

How was your ECU damaged? Any theories? Props to shops/vendors coming together to get you sorted out.

also, i just wanted to comment on that 800hp for a gt37. That's on a 2.4L engine so it will be much higher than a 3.5L engine. The same way a single gt37 won't put down crap on a 6.0L engine because of flow restriction. Displacement plays a major role here. That gt37 should easily be in the 600hp range for our engines though

also, since it's a tial vband setup is it still considered t3? I mean, it doesn't technically have a flange so how can it be a t3 flange?

Binder I think its like AMG keeping the C63 on a 5.5 liter. Things that are common and sound cool remain, even when they change the set up. 5.5 twin turbo can be dubbed AMG 63 in my book.

prob the same theory here.

GT = Garret Turbo, NO?
